Today is World Turtle Day! Meet My Shelled Family Members [PICTURES]

Today is World Turtle Day! We all know the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but I was digging turtles long before the heroes in a half shell showed up. I used to have those little painted slider turtles when I was a kid and have loved them ever since.

This past year my family decided to jump back into the turtle world and bought a couple of underwater turtles. We have a red eared slider and an African side neck. They are very cool and are considered members of our family. They will get some special worms today to celebrate World Turtle Day. I hope my turtles Donnie and Raff and all the other turtles of the world have a very special day today. Enjoy a few photos of my buddies.
