Today is Wear Purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Day

I have no problem taking a stand for things I believe in. I believe in protecting each other and treating each other with respect. Those who commit domestic violence have no place in my life. I know you feel the same. Today and every day we need to stand up and be there for those who have gone through or are going through the hell of abuse. We need to be available to listen and help. We need organizations that are there for these people to turn to. We need to open our ears and listen and open our hearts and help. There is no excuse for domestic violence...period.

Today is Wear Purple for Domestic Violence Awareness Day. Put your purple on and show that you care and are here to help. We need to make sure that anyone going through this knows that it is not their fault and we, as a community, are here to help. There are many organizations you can help and the best thing you can do is be an example of good. Be a loving, caring, respectful person and let your friends, children and the whole world learn through your actions. Love and kindness is what we need.
