The old Colorado Feed & Grain building in downtown Timnath burned yesterday morning, and it took firefighters more than an hour to put the blaze out because of the windy conditions.  Four people and some pets were living in the building, but nobody was injured.

Poudre Fire Authority  dispatchers got a call at 1:03 a.m. that the fire was on the top floor of building. They were able to save a portion of the building, but the wind made it very difficult to fight the fire.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation, but according to the Fort Collins Coloradoan, the fire may have been sparked by a power line that was knocked over by the wind.
