Time to Hit Your Knees – Today is the National Day of Prayer

My name is Brian Gary and I pray every single day on my way to work and I am in no way ashamed to admit it. I have my quiet conversation with my best friend every day as I drive to help me get my mind right for the day. I ask for strength to deal with whatever comes my way and to handle it properly. I ask for guidance to be the best me I can be today and be of help to those I can help. I am not one who feels I need to go to a certain building or say certain refrains to communicate with my higher power. He is right beside me riding shotgun always.

Today is the day set aside for all of us who pray to pray together. This is the National Day of Prayer. This is a time for us to pray for the well being of our nation and our people. If you are a prayerful person, make sure you hit your knees today and get involved. If you aren't...no worries, just enjoy your Thursday and spread some kindness and caring. Peace.
