Blake Shelton is calling out the tabloids and Tim McGraw is getting into the book world. Here's your Nashville Minute for Friday, March 18th.

Blake Shelton has issued a new declaration regarding his defamation lawsuit against In Touch Weekly's parent company Bauer Media for a cover story that was printed in September of last year claiming he was headed to rehab and that his drinking contributed to his divorce from Miranda Lambert. In the new declaration Blake says he was "furious" to see the magazine depict him in this way. Blake says "Not only was I not in rehab or headed to rehab when it was published, but I also do not have a drinking problem. All of this was false and went so far beyond prior stories about me that I had previously denied with humor."

Tim McGraw's latest song, Humble and Kind, is, in my opinion, the best of his career. Don't just take my word for it; the single is making a HUGE impact on country music fans. The song was inspired by McGraw's oldest daughter getting ready to leave for college, and now it will be adapted into a book. The book will include lyrics from the song, illustrations, and an introduction from McGraw. The book Humble and Kind will be available on May 17th with a portion of the proceeds being donated to charity.
