Thomas Rhett is one of my favorite new acts in country music and he will be bringing his show to the Grizzly Rose on Friday night. Thomas has had the big hits "Something To Do With My Hands" and "Beer With Jesus". He also is a fantastic song writer who wrote Jason Aldean's current smash "1994".

In the song "1994" we hear the words "Joe Diffie" a lot. Joe was one of the hottest things going in the mid 90's with big hits like "Pickup Man", "Third Rock From The Sun" and many more. There is a little dance that goes along with the song and Thomas teaches it to us in this video from a visit with a radio station in Hartford, Conn. Check it out and practice for the show on Friday. I threw in a little Diffie too to freshen your memory.

Here is the smash "1994"

Now a little of the original...Joe Diffie.
