With all the talk these days about minimum wage and workers striking to get more money, good news hits Larimer County. Unemployment hits a five year low.

According to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, unemployment in Larimer County hit its lowest point since the fall of 2008. Rebounding from some of the county's highest unemployment rates that reached 7.3 in 2010, and has been making a steady and slow drop since.

Although growth continues to be gauged at a hopeful rate, the jobless residents in Larimer County hover at same or like numbers making seemingly more lateral changes.
