The holidays are coming and it will be time to get together with the family and create some new memories and talk about old ones before we know it. I always love sitting around and visiting with my folks. My Dad has a history of saying some crazy old sayings. He usually messes them up like, “she’s cute as a drum” or “you can’t have you cake and ice cream too.” Every father in the world has uttered the words “you think I’m made of money” or “if your friend jumped off a cliff would you?”
Here are a few more that every Dad in the world has said at least 37 times.
“Were you raised in a barn?”
“They don’t make them like they used to.”
“I’ll give you something to cry about.”
“Eat that. There are starving children in Africa.”
“You’ll understand when you are older.”
“I’m not sleeping, I’m just resting my eyes.”

“We got oranges for Christmas and we were grateful.”

2013 Greeley Stampede Demolition Derby Gears Up July 7th
The Greeley Stampede is coming up, and you know what that means. Corndogs, cowboy hats, concerts, and cars. One of the best parts of the 10-day festival is the demolition derby. Hundreds (yes, hundreds) of drivers will partake in the destructive chaos. This year's demolition derby will take place on July 7th at 2:00 PM, and tickets cost $20-25.
