Then & Now – Fort Collins’ Linden Hotel [PICTURES]
It's got a serious history. It's reputedly haunted by a prostitute that committed suicide in it. Today, you can buy rare minerals there. It's the Linden Hotel, and it's been a Fort Collins landmark since 1900.
This amazing building, for the most part, looks the same today as it did back then.
Here's another shot, this one from 1934.
We could almost put it through an Instagram filter and get that photo.
In this one from 1975, it appears they painted it.
Same color, this one from 1983.
By 1997, it had been restored back to its original red brick. Good choice!
Thanks to the Fort Collins Local History Archive for the great photos!
