OK, I know "The Who" have nothing to do with country but when I saw this story earlier I thought it was kind of cool and had to share it thinking you may as well.  Country or not, we probably all know at least a few tunes we can all whistle to from the classic rock band.

Many of us remember that fateful day back on December 3, 1979 in Cincinnati OH when eleven fans were crushed to death and scores injured because of gross crowd management policy.  That was pretty much the end of "General Admission Seating."

Refunds were issued for a following show in Providence R.I. after the mayor cancelled the show due to the incident in Cincy but many collectors hung onto those tickets.  Good thing cause now you get to see The Who for free as the band has announced it will embark on a tour dubbed ‘Quadrophenia and More’ but there is a catch.

According to the Boston Herald, General Manager Lawrence Lepore of the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence announced on a local radio show just today that the venue will honor any remaining tickets from that canceled show.

Any tickets from 1979 that are redeemed will be donated to help raise money for the Special Olympics of Rhode Island.

If your interested The Who will invade the Pepsi Center on February 12, 2013.
