Today is a very special anniversary. It is the anniversary of Farm Aid. Some things just go together, like Batman and Robin, peanut butter and jelly, Conway and Loretta, bacon and...anything and country music and farming.

Country music and farming have always gone together. The artists in the format and the people who listen to country generally have a great appreciation for who makes our country grow and we know it is the American farmer.

31 years ago today in Champaign, Illinois, Willie Nelson and many of his superstar friends came together to perform a concert to help the American farmers and Farm Aid was born.

I have grabbed a couple videos from that original concert and threw in the epic Paul Harvey "God Made a Farmer" piece as well as a wonderful musical tribute to our farmers from our buddy James Wesley called "Thank a Farmer". God bless the men and women who make our country grow. We love our farmers and are so grateful for all you do for us.
