The United States Army Loses Two More In The Past 7 Days

Sadly, the loss of life continues in 'Operation Enduring Freedom.' Since last Monday’s post, we have brought home two (2) more soldiers from the U.S. Army. I say it again, the this war, at this point, serves no purpose to the citizens of the United States and I personally think it's time for drastic game plan and let those protect their own countries.

Killed In Action on July 28 - Bagram Afghanistan of wounds suffered when his unit was attacked by small arms fire in the Sarobi District of Kabul Province, Afghanistan. Sgt. Stephen M. New was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Jackson, Miss.

Spc. Nicholas B. Burley
Spc. Nicholas B. Burley - Age 22 from Red Bluff, California. Killed In Action July 30 - Pul-E-Alam, Afghanistan of injuries sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with indirect fire. Spc. Nicholas B. Burley was assigned to the 6th Squadron, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.
