I know we have talked about it to the point of almost running it into the ground since Peyton Manning signed with the Denver Broncos in March, but talk is cheap. Tomorrow night Manning will take the field for the first time in orange and blue in a game that actually counts. No one knows for sure what Manning will bring to the Broncos, but we all know that good or bad it is something that will forever be talked about.

It is arguable that he is the best quarterback to ever play the game, and this stint with the Broncos just may solidify that fact for Peyton Manning. It also could be one of the biggest disasters in the history of football. The Broncos took a large risk signing a guy who is 36 years old and coming off of dangerous neck surgery. The fact is no matter what happens, win or lose, 55 years from now our grand kids will still be talking about the time the Broncos signed Peyton Manning.

It is so cool that the history books will be written in Denver, and it all starts tomorrow night as the Broncos take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Getting to go against a Steelers defense that has given him some problems over the years should be a great test of where he stands now in relation to his years with the Colts. You know the Steelers aren't going to pass up a chance to hit him. How he responds to those hits and the pressure surrounding his debut as a member of the Broncos decide exactly how optimistic the Broncos should really be about this. Denver won the AFC West title and a playoff game with Tim Tebow serving as the quarterback for the majority of last season. The upgrade from Tebow to Manning alone gives the Broncos incredible potential in 2012.

Are you ready for some football? I am! GO BRONCOS!!!!
