What an amazing day, literally.  A motorcycle rider around Christmas couldn't have asked for a nicer day to do a toy run than Sunday, December 23rd.  With temperatures near 55, hundreds showed up for the annual Sleigh Riders Motorcycle Toy Run breaking all previous records.

By most accounts there were about 350 bikes who showed up for this years run topping the normal 300'ish mark but just short of the goal of 400.  Still a record number of bikes and people this year and close to two thousand toys donated again to Santa Cops of Weld County.

Details were also announced concerning the date we have been given by the U.S. Forest Service on when they want the Sleigh Riders group to replant our section of the High Park Fire.  That date will be in May and more details will be announced soon.

We also announced a brand new website in the making for The Sleigh Riders Motorcycle Toy Run that will contain everything you need to know about the Sleigh Riders, what we do, how we do it and when it's done.  There will also be a form on the site for High School students to fill out as we begin to hand out Sleigh Rider Scholarship money in 2013.

In addition to the best turnout ever, this was also the first year that every single free ride shirt and ride patch were handed out.  We also raised close to $5000 that goes directly into our scholarship program thanks to the waitresses at Alberto's, Colorado Crude Carries, Scott Bicknell and friends and of course the hundreds of individuals that donated by purchasing the new corporate logo shirts and breakfast donations.
