I have been so blessed to get to do what I do for a living. I get to play music and talk on the radio and even get to meet and develop friendships with the people who make the music. I have become good friends with the guys from A Thousand Horses, Drake White, Brothers Osborne,The Cadillac Three, Dan + Shay and many more. Those relationships mean the world to me. I have also gotten to meet stars that made me a little nervous just because of what huge stars they are. I have found that most of the big name people I have hung with are just down to earth great people with really cool jobs.

I decided I would dig out pictures from the six meetings with artists that I have had that I will never forget. The list starts and finishes with Garth Brooks. The man is just pure kindness. There is a reason he is the biggest recording star of all time. This man treats everyone who meets him like gold.

Next on my list, in no particular order, was getting to hang with Tim McGraw. I was knocked out by what a kind southern gentleman he was and was so easy to talk with. I could have spent hours talking music with him.

There is no sweeter lady in the business than Reba. I had always wanted to meet her and when Kyla and I did, we were not disappointed. She is one genuine sweetheart who even did Jell-o shots with us that we stole from Lee Ann Womack's dressing room.

I am an old rocker at heart and a few years ago one of my three favorite bands of all time...Cheap Trick, came to the Greeley Stampede. I was in heaven to stand next to the men who made the soundtrack of my life since the 1970's...too cool!!!

Taylor Swift is not the huge star she is by accident. She went to the Garth Brooks School of How to Treat Your Fans. What an special night it was to be near her. She was cool beyond words. She even sent my daughter and I hand written thank you notes for coming  backstage and hanging out. Who does that? Taylor Swift does.

There is no one who oozes cool in the music world like George Strait does. I have so much respect for him as a person and an artist. I have had the pleasure of meeting him several times in my career and every time has been a joy. He is pure class.
