One of the things I have always loved about Garth Brooks is that he really does care about the fans and mankind in general. He has shown it time and time again. He showed what family meant to him by walking away from the greatest career in music history to raise his kids. He has also done countless efforts for charity and those in need. It is the way he has treated people as well as his talent that made him who he is.

Back in 1992 our nation was in an uneasy state. On this date the Rodney King verdict was read and there was a lot of tension in the air. Garth could feel that and went and wrote a classic hit. He felt the emotion in the air and that the world needed a voice of peace. He became that voice with his moving hit "We Shall Be Free". The message here is still as strong as it was 22 years ago. Enjoy this hit and take the words to heart. Love one another. Peace.
