I am not a bucket list kind of guy. I don’t have a list of things I want to do before I die. I have been blessed to live the life I have and have done most of the things I have wanted to do. There is one item though that I have always wanted to do and it is getting checked off the list this weekend. I have always wanted to go on a motorcycle adventure with my buddy Charley Barnes. This weekend we are riding out to Topeka for a Journey 4 Justice ride. Be sure to read Charley’s original blog on this to see what it is all about.

On Friday morning me, Charley and my buddy Danny Joe are saddling up and hitting the road. I have a Dyna Wide Glide with no windshield so I should be coming home with bugs from several states embedded in my face. I have seen the movie Wild Hogs several times and have a feeling we may be making the sequel on this trip.

In all seriousness I am honored to be riding out there. I am going to proudly wave an American flag and show my support for those who have gave all and at the same time fill my soul. Sometimes my mind gets so full and stressed out that a bit of highway therapy is needed. I will be back on the air Monday but until then I will be spending some time with Dr. Open Road and showing my American pride at the same time. God Bless America.
