The Refreshing Taste of a Mug of Root Beer Was First Enjoyed Today in 1866 [POLL]

Snoopy has always been the coolest cartoon character to me. The dude could fly a doghouse and chase the Red Baron, could make some mean popcorn and toast feasts, had his own bird and enjoyed the cool refreshing taste of a frosty mug of root beer.

I have always loved root beer. Getting to put a mug in the freezer for a few hours and then pouring a cold bottle of root beer into the mug and watching the ice chunks form and slide down the inside of the mug was always the vision of pure tasty refreshment. Who can resist a root beer float? I sure as heck can't.

There are many tasty varieties of root beer. There are even lots of micro brews from local folks with their own secret recipes. I was always partial to Hires as my favorite but a frosty mug of A&W is hard to beat. What is your favorite root beer?
