Country music has had it's share of odd duets. You could say the number one hit "Who Says You Can't Go Home" by Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles was an odd one. Chris Stapleton and Justin Timberlake were an usual pairing too but back in 1984 perhaps the most unusual ever went all the way to number one on the country chart.

It was 32 years ago today that Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias were sitting at number one with “To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before”. Who in their strange twisted mind would have ever put these completely different voices and styles together? I bet it was Willie’s idea after some deep breathing exercises on his bus. Take a trip back and relive this odd moment of music history. I also included one of my favorite clips from The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson when he surprised Julio by doing his Willie impression. Julio was told that Willie would be joining him and then Johnny appeared as Willie and shocked Julio. Very funny.
