I love watching sports. It is the greatest reality show on TV. You have no idea what is going to happen and anything could happen, including brutal injuries. It is the risk all athletes take when they compete. There is always the chance something could go wrong. It was on the date in 1985 that one of the most gruesome examples of this took place. I can remember watching the New York Giants playing the Washington Redskins when we all heard the snap heard round world. Lawrence Taylor of the Giants sacked Washington QB Joe Theismann and his leg snapped like nothing seen before in the world of sports. Joe never did play another down.
