It's time to celebrate the luck of the Irish in old town Fort Collins this weekend! Yep, we're all set for the Annual Lucky Joe's Saint Patrick's Day Parade this Saturday beginning at 10am.

MY PHOTO MEMORIES FROM THE PARADE 2012

loading...

This will be the first time that we have been to the parade since losing Ashley and Colton, my James' mom was here last time we went and Ashley and I made these great shirts for all of us and then we posed in crazy ways, these are memories that will stick in our family forever and memories that we will bring with us this Saturday. It is bittersweet to remember the last time I was sitting in the perfect spot at the parade with the little people and amazing to think I will be sitting in the perfect spot again (or likely walking along side the the K99 float) with my eldest child performing from his heart as his dreams become a reality. Events like the Lucky Joe's Saint Patrick's Day Parade bring families together, create traditions and lasting memories. I hope that you can be there with your family.

THE PARADE ROUTE AND PLAN

The parade route will begin on Walnut Ave on the north side of old town square then will turn south on College Ave and travel in the south bound lanes to Magnolia where it will turn left. The last stretch of the parade will be north along Remington Ave. until it connects with Mountain Ave again.

As always the parade is free and we encourage you to bring the whole family. This truly is a huge event in Fort Collins. We look forward to it each and every year and this year my family is especially excited to have my Zachariah and his band, the Zachariah Dean Band or as they are quickly becoming known as 'ZDB'. This up and coming country cover band is great, their energy, their passion is second to none and I don't say that just because Zachariah is my son, they really do create magic when they play together.

After the parade come hang out at the Old Town Irish Party presented by Wilbur’s Total Beverage From 10:30am to 5:00pm enjoy an Irish Party with great live Irish music, Beer, Food & More!
