There is a shortage of turkeys at the food bank this year.

I interviewed Amy Pezzani CEO of the Food Bank for Larimer County about the county's increased need for food this Thanksgiving season.

They have had a record number of requests for many Thanksgiving food items, so they need our help.

She details the items they need this year. And unlike normal protocol that says that it's better to give cash to the food bank, they actually want the food items listed below and in the video.

They need:

  • Over 1,000 more turkeys
  • 1,200 bags of stuffing
  • 900 cans of cranberries
  • 1,800 cans of sweet potatoes
