The Candy Garden Is Our New Easter Tradition [VIDEO]
I had the most wonderful Easter. Getting to hang with my parents and children and grandchildren was so good for the heart. All the food I ate may not have been as good for the heart but it was a great weekend. Getting to go to Easter Sunday service with my parents and then seeing them play with my grandchildren was just priceless and getting to sit around a laugh as a whole family is as good as it gets.
My youngest grandson Zayden had his first Easter and loved wearing his bunny ears.
My oldest grandson Zander had gone outside on Thursday and started planting jelly beans and smarties. He told me he was planting a candy garden and was hoping it would grow. He even sprinkled Kool-Aid on it to help it grow. I thought this was the cutest thing I had ever heard of. Easter morning I got up early and went outside and stuck suckers and chocolate eggs around where he had planted. He was amazed when he woke up and saw what had sprouted up. I am so lucky to have these 2 little guys to add to what was already a wonderful family.
