Last June I wrote a story about Brian Banks, a blue-chip High School football player who had his life shattered by a woman who falsely accused him of raping her. A year later, this woman is facing her Karma.

This is actually the third story I have written on Brian Banks. The first was back in May of 2012 when I first heard about him and shared a video that told his story. I went on record then saying, "I hope this woman gets what she deserves."

Well, that day has come!

Not only did Brian Banks spend 5 years in prison and another 5 years on probation but the woman who falsely accused him was also awarded a $1.6 million dollar lawsuit against Long Beach Poly High School District.

Revenge can be sweet.

A judge recently ordered Wanetta Gibson, after she was secretly recorded admitting that she made the whole thing up, to pay $2.6 million to Banks for potentially ruining his life with the false allegations and to lose numerous scholarship offers including a full-ride to USC to play for Pete Carroll. She is also required to repay a $750,000 settlement to the school, plus attorneys fees, interest and another $1 million in punitive damages.

But no jail time...which I think is BS!  However, touche` Ms. Gibson...you know what they say about Karma and perhaps we'll see you someday on Oprah's "Where are they now?"
