I love me some country music. I look forward to getting a new album and listening to every word of every song. Sometimes it turns out that the hits are the only songs I like and sometimes I like every song more than the ones that reach radio. That is the fun of getting a whole album and not just a single or two.

Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and George Strait are probably already in your collection but you may be missing one of the best country albums of the last few years and it comes from an unlikely source...a rock star.

Aaron Lewis has been the front man for the mega famous rock band Staind since the mid 90's. Aaron is a country boy at heart and I mean real country. He put out an album in November of 2012 called "The Road" that may the countriest thing you have heard in years. Leave it to a rocker to show us what country should sound like. He was raised on Waylon and the original outlaws of country and it sure shows. If you like your country real, you must have this in your collection.
