The Bears Are Getting Active in Estes Park [VIDEO]

I love going up to Estes Park. Estes is one of the beautiful places in all of Colorado. If we have guests come from out of town, we always make sure we take them for a ride up the canyon to Estes Park.

It is not only humans who love Estes Park, the bears love Estes too. I was reading Larimer County sheriff Justin Smith's Facebook post from last night that said...

"Barely bearable: the bears around Estes Park are getting quite active. Last night's shift report from that district included 3 separate bear calls, including one from RMNP, of " a bear or someone wearing a bear suit" causing a traffic problem near Moraine Ave and Mary's Lake Rd.

Guess that's why every deputy I know swears that someday, they'll write a book!"

Take the clan up the mountain to enjoy all that the beautiful town has to offer but remember we share the mountain with the wildlife and they like it too.
