The Band Perry to Join Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve 2012 Celebration
The Band Perry will make yet another high-profile appearance, this time at Dick Clark’s ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ with Ryan Seacrest on Saturday, Dec. 31 on ABC. The event marks the 40th anniversary of Dick Clark’s New Year’s special and will feature actress Jenny McCarthy broadcasting from Times Square and Fergie reporting from the parties in Los Angeles.
The bi-coastal New Year’s broadcast by Dick Clark will feature plenty of other popular musicians, too, during 5 and a half hours of celebrations and special reports. Other musicians that will be included in the event include Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Hot Chelle Rae.
The sibling Perry trio, who just finished touring with Reba McEntire and will soon join Brad Paisley on the road, just performed a lush version of their song ‘All My Life’ at the 2011 American Country Awards earlier this week, which was televised live from Las Vegas. The broadcast, co-hosted by Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth, featured more performances by such country stars as Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, and Pistol Annies.
