Thanksgiving Day Feast at Salvation Army Not Just For the Homeless
I’ve been alone on Thanksgiving Day before. It’s no fun. If you are alone on Thanksgiving Day or are in need this year, The Salvation Army in Fort Collins is holding their Annual FREE Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, November 22nd from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army headquarters at 3901 South Mason in Fort Collins.
Donations of non-perishable items are currently being accepted for the dinner. All donations can be dropped off at the Mason Street location or call (970) 207-4472 for more information.
2013 Greeley Stampede Demolition Derby Gears Up July 7th
The Greeley Stampede is coming up, and you know what that means. Corndogs, cowboy hats, concerts, and cars. One of the best parts of the 10-day festival is the demolition derby. Hundreds (yes, hundreds) of drivers will partake in the destructive chaos. This year's demolition derby will take place on July 7th at 2:00 PM, and tickets cost $20-25.
