Thanksgiving at Grandma’s House — Day Tripping Around Northern Colorado in a 2015 Nissan Rogue

Thanksgiving is next week, and on Thursday morning someone will find us knocking on his or her door to deliver a 2015 Nissan Rogue from Ehrlich Nissan. If you're off to grandma's house or just taking a day trip, you would have a lot of fun in this crossover.

DAY TRIPPING AROUND COLORADO IN A 2015 NISSAN ROGUE

• Rocky Mountain National Park: 35 miles from Fort Collins (80-180 Miles all tolled for the day) offering a one-on-one experience with nature. RMNP features 18 named peaks, 150 named lakes and among other things the highest continually paved road in the United States (Trail Ridge Road).
• Pawnee National Grasslands: 193 thousand acres of public land just waiting to be explored. Bird watching is a favorite, you can even get an elaborate bird watching map at Crow Valley. Prepare to spend the day hiking and enjoying nature with a homemade packed picnic. Daring folks enjoy an incredible camping experience.
• Head into the High Country: You'll find adventure as you make your way into the canyon. As you leave the prairie behind, you will dive into the beautiful mountains. This time of year, the bighorn sheep live on the north side. Look carefully and you will likely see them spending their day combing the terrain. Continue on your path, and you'll wind up in the beautiful Red Feather Lakes, an area that was once a mining camp. Although no big riches were made, settlers in 1871 were taken by the beauty and called it home.
  
• Cache La Poudre- North Scenic Byway: While tooling around in your 2015 Nissan Rogue, you'll experience some of the most beautiful roadways out there. The canyon, the mountains, the river, forests and more become a new world of exploration. This full-day excursion will take you around 110 to 220 miles. It all depends on you and your adventurous mind.
