Thanksgiving- A Bad Day For ‘American Idol’ Alumni [VIDEOS]
Thanksgiving is a day Americans have dedicated to eating a lot, watching TV, and giving thanks for what we have. For a select few though, Thanksgiving is a day to do what they do best, entertain. Both of the final two contestants on the last season of "American Idol" got the call this year, and both made headlines doing it, just not for the reason they would have liked. Idol winner, Scotty McCreery, flubbed up his lip syncing at the Macy's Parade, and Idol runner-up, Lauren Alaina, became the latest to mess up the National Anthem.
Just a little late Scotty...
Didn't seem like you forgot the words, why did you stop Lauren?
Even though Thanksgiving wasn't very kind to these two rising stars, I am going to assume that it won't hurt either career. After a very successful American Idols LIVE! Tour 2011 Scotty McCreery is now hitting the road with Brad Paisley, and Lauren Alaina's debut album Wildflowers was released in October and is doing very well.
