We know that preseason football is basically a glorified scrimmage game and nothing more. We will cheer and want to see our team do good but don't get overly excited about the play on the field. You may see a great run, catch, throw or hit but you usually don't jump up and start cheering until the regular season. We certainly don't get over excited about a preseason 25 yard field goal but there are some people that do.

Thursday night was the preseason kickoff for the Packers and Patriots and the Telemundo network was in postseason form. Listen as the the announcer goes crazy over a 25 yard field goal by Mason Crosby of the Packers. You would have thought he just scored the winning goal in the World Cup or a Super Bowl winning field goal. You have to admire the enthusiasm but come on dude, pace yourself and save some juice for the regular season.
