Teachers in Colorado Could be Allowed to Carry Guns
While demonstrators demanding stricter gun laws gather outside the Colorado State Capitol Building today, a Colorado Senate committee is scheduled to consider the first gun-related bill of the legislative term. According to 7 News the bill would allow schools to allow employees to carry concealed weapons. Under current law, an individual with a valid permit may not carry a concealed handgun at any public K-12 school. Weld and Larimer Counties sheriffs add their thoughts here. The Greeley Stampede is coming up, and you know what that means. Corndogs, cowboy hats, concerts, and cars. One of the best parts of the 10-day festival is the demolition derby. Hundreds (yes, hundreds) of drivers will partake in the destructive chaos. This year's demolition derby will take place on July 7th at 2:00 PM, and tickets cost $20-25.
