Your middle school child witnesses an altercation with a teach and video tapes it. Another teacher then takes the phone and deletes the video. Right or wrong?

The incident in question happened last week according to sources at a middle school in Hillsboro Oregon between a student and a teacher. Apparently the student refused to remove a hat at the request of a teacher.

Several students started to video as two teachers circled the boy and attempted to escort him out of the gym where the boy was later arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment and was also suspended.

He probably deserved everything he got and this is not what my story is about. It's the kids who taped it.  A teacher took all the phones and when they were returned to the students, all their video's of the incident had been deleted and according to sources, apps had also been opened to see if any emails etc.had been sent or posted on social media.

I'm sure the teacher/s were well within their rights to escort this boy out of the gym so why would the video have been deleted and why would another teacher care enough to delete all copies?

Seems even a middle school child has certain rights and I would think this would be violating one of them.  Would love to hear your thoughts on this one so sound off in the comments section below and let us know on the poll as well.
