Last I checked, we live in a free country. With that comes choices we all get to make. No one holds a gun to our heads to make us do or buy something.

So why in the world would Target now have to take a bunch of heat for a shirt they are selling? The shirt in question is geared towards women with the word "Trophy" across the front.

A T-shirt being sold at Target’s stores and on its website has sparked a backlash online, as many customers are claiming the top is offensive to women.

. . . THEN DON'T BUY THE FREAKING SHIRT . . .

First of all, I'm sure there are plenty of women who would love to wear the shirt to satisfy their own ego if nothing else. No one is making anyone buy this shirt. It's the choice of the buyer to buy it or not.

If it's such a bad idea and women don't like the shirt, they won't buy it. Good lord, is this really an issue? Like the women who hate the shirt aren't smart enough to know that other women can think for themselves as well?

There are so many other shirts out there much more offensive and to be honest, there is really nothing offensive about the shirt in my opinion.

"I'm With Stupid" (with a finger pointing to the person next to whoever is wearing the shirt) seems to be fine and, of course, doesn't demean anyone, right? For the love of all things holy, this political correctness stuff is just going way too far and the fact that everyone thinks they know what is best for everyone else turns my stomach.
