In January, 2014, Fort Collins' City Council expanded the City's Smoking Ordinance to prohibit smoking on or within 20' of outdoor dining areas, bar patios, and Transfort's public transit facilities, shelters and benches. Now they want to know if they went far enough with their actions, so they have created a public survey.

According to the City of Fort Collins:

We would like to know your thoughts about expanding smoking regulations in other outdoor areas, regulating electronic smoking devices and looking into expanding hotel/motel smoking regulations. The City would like to gain an understanding of how the community feels about these possible smoking regulations and whether the community currently experiences impacts from smoking in these areas.
