What’s Entertaining Todd – The Sound of Music at Midtown Arts Center

My wife and I saw "The Sound of Music" last night at Midtown Arts Center.  I left the theater singing, "Doe, a deer, a female deer!" and I woke up this morning, singing "The Lonely Goatherd". The songs are so infectious! I blame Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein and I also blame the brilliant cast.

What’s Entertaining Todd

When is the last time you saw good local dinner theatre? Many times it is an oxymoron, "Good Local Dinner Theatre".   We have a great dinner theatre in Fort Collins! They used to be called The Carousel Dinner Theatre!  The name has been changed to the Midtown Arts Center.  You may remember the building when it was the Mann 4 Theatre. (It closed in 1999.) My wife and I recently saw their production of 42nd Street and loved it!

What’s Entertaining Todd

I have seen some great shows this season at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley!  My wife and I bought a package of shows this year that included Spamalot, The Church Basement Ladies, Manheim Steamroller Christmas, Riverdance, and last night's show:  Los Lonely Boys!

My wife and I saw "Spamalot" last night at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley! I love, love, loved it! It was laugh-out-loud funny...and I am not one who laughs a lot! From "I'm Not Dead Yet", to "The Song That Goes Like This", to "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life", the songs were catchy, cheeky, and just plain hilarious! There were also some classic moment that you will remember from the Monty Python movies.

What’s Entertaining Todd

I watched a movie over the weekend that I loved! Why didn't this movie get more attention? It is a great action flick! It's funny! I even liked the ending! However, it only stayed in the theaters a couple weeks. It featured some of the biggest names in Hollywood:

What’s Entertaining Todd

Every once in a while my wife and I will watch a movie we know nothing about! We haven't seen the previews! We haven't read the reviews! We haven't had anybody tell us anything about the movie! That recently happened with the movie, "The Answer Man" starring Jeff Daniels and Lauren Graham!

What’s Entertaining Todd

A Colorado Eagles hockey game turned into a gluttonous food-fest for me over the weekend. My wife and I went to the Eagles/Mudbugs game at the Budweiser Events Center on Saturday night with with some friends! The Eagles won the game 6-1, and everyone in the arena won free food from Wendy's! It happens every game when Colorado scored 6 goals or more! That wasn't the end of the free food!

What’s Entertaining Todd?

On Monday "The Bachelor" made it's season premiere. It's a guy some of you will recognize. Brad Womack was on the show in 2007. Brad Womack became known as "the most hated man in Bachelor history" when he decided not to chose either of two final women. It's the reason my wife didn't want to watch the show. It's the reason I had to sneak upstairs to watch the show. Yes. I admit it! Here's my Guy Card! I was watching "The Bachelor", without my wife, behind her back! Here is my excuse for watching the show:
