The history of country music is filled with so many great male and female vocalist but to be honest there have not been that many great bands. We have had some excellent bands but in comparison with other formats of music there are very few who have had great success.

My wife and I went to the Darius Rucker, Eli Young Band, David Nail concert Sunday night at the Budweiser Events Center. What a great show and what a great place to see a concert. It got me to thinking, "Is it the best place to see a concert in Northern Colorado?"

I'm not exactly sure what constitutes sexy but we always hear talk about who is the sexiest this or that. Is it just looks? Is it the way they carry themselves?

Last night was the State of the Union address. I always watch and giggle at how childish they all look when some clap and cheer while the other look sad and grumpy and then the other group will clap while the former clappers turn to frowns and grumpiness.

I find some things a waste of time. Lathering my face to shave is one of them. I have never been one to put that on before shaving.

There is a new Batman movie coming in the near future and it will feature a new Batman. Ben Affleck will be taking over as the caped crusader for the next go round.

This weekend matches 2 of the greatest NFL quarterbacks of all time playing against each other. I don't think anyone can make a list of the best of all time and not include Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

It's playoff time and I am jacked. This weekend is the best weekend in sports. We have 2 playoff games Saturday and Sunday with the Bronco game wrapping up the weekends festivities.

The season premiere of Downton Abbey was Sunday night on PBS.  I wasn't able to stay up late enough to watch it, but that's o.k.   I watched it last night online.  You can do the same by clicking here.
