True Grit has its Christmas opening starting tomorrow!  Jeff Bridges stars as Rooster Cogburn in the remake of the 1969 classic. Jeff recently starred as Bad Blake in “Crazy Heart” – a great film about a washed out Country singer on his way back to relevance.

It was today back in 1979 however, when a legendary Country singer made his movie debut!
