Paving work will prompt closures and delays on Taft Hill Road from Horsetooth Road to Drake Road this week. One lane of traffic in each direction, northbound and southbound, will be open for travel throughout construction, but motorists can expect delays.

A mudslide has closed part of Poudre Canyon in Larimer County this morning.

2:18am - US 34 is now open five miles west of Loveland where it had been closed since 6pm Saturday for mudslide cleanup. All lanes of I-25, both NB and SB are also open near Danono after being closed Saturday evening due to standing water.

If you are driving past Fort Collins at night over the next month, expect some delays.  Beginning tonight  (Wednesday, May 2nd), the Colorado Department of Transportation will resume concrete replacement on I-25 from  Harmony Road  Mountain Vista.

I was driving home to Fort Collins from Greeley last night and was reminded by the flashing sign that Highway 34 would be reduced to one lane in each direction again this weekend.  The sign also reminded me that I should expect delays.  My advice would be avoid Highway 34 completely on Saturday and Sunday.

I sit in traffic everyday in Fort Collins. I personally complain about just about everything that pertains to traffic; from people going under the speed limit to not using their turn signals to daydreaming front runners at a green light.

Highway 34 between Loveland and Greeley will be reduced to one lane in each direction This weekend (April 14-15) and again next weekend (April 21-22). The Union Pacific Railroad and the Colorado Department of Transportation are replacing the railroad crossing about a half-mile east of the Centerra Parkway intersection, the entrance to the Promenade shopping center.
