20 years ago today I quit watching late night talk shows. It on this date back in 92 that Johnny Carson signed off as the host of The Tonight Show. Johnny Carson is the reason I got into this business. I grew up watching this man and wanted to be him.

Tonight on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno there is going to be hoedown. Okay maybe not a hoedown but it is going to get western with Blake Shelton and Scotty McCreery. Blake is riding high on the success of the hit show The Voice and his current number one smash “Honeybee” and Scotty, of course, is still soaring from his American Idol win and his debut hit “I Love You This Big”. The Tonight Show airs at 10:35 p.m. on KUSA-TV.
