Tax Day

Today is tax day. Today is the deadline to get those taxes done and make sure you are all squared up with Uncle Sam. We are all proud Americans and it is our duty to pay our taxes. I feel it is a small price to pay to live in the greatest country on earth.

It's just a Tuesday, right? And most likely not only have you filed your taxes Northern Colorado, but you've spent your refund. For others it's not about potentially owing or that they don't want their money, it's just a tedious task. By a show of hands how many who have not filed plan on doing their own taxes? Well, we're done to the wire, just 11 days now till tax day. Here are some last minute

If you've made it this far chances are you owe, right? Well today take a little back.

I say over 30 because I was under 30 once with small children and ALWAYS got a refund, so by the time the tax deadline hit, I was so over taxes (and had spent my refund already).

Don't freak out if you haven't filed your taxes yet.  It is not tax day! That is tomorrow.  Tax day normally falls on April 15th. However,  since today is a federal holiday,  this year taxes are due Tuesday, April 17.
