It seems every year a new country star emerges as the one to watch. A couple of years ago Josh Turner made that kind of impact, this year Chris Young is doing it. Chris has had 3 number ones in a row with “Getting’ You Home”, “Voices” and “The Man I Want To Be” and “Tomorrow” is just weeks away from being his fourth in a row.
Little Big Town will open for Rodney Atkins Friday night at the Greeley Stampede. I would pay the admission just to see Little Big Town, but you are getting two headliners for the price of one...and that price is $24 or $29.
The seats are empty. The beer is warm and stacked on pallets. The stage is bare, sitting in a back lot at Island Grove Park. Sit quitely though, and put your ear to the ground. You just might hear the distant sound of approaching tractor-trailers, buses, and thousands of country music fans making their way to Greeley.
