It has become a family tradition to go out and eat with the family on Thursday nights, and it always excites me when someone comes up with the idea to drive to Loveland to eat at the Cracker Barrel. This last Thursday was one of those nights. The atmosphere, the music, the food, it is all always great at the Cracker Barrel. The music I speak of that happened to be playing this week was the new CD that the restaurant was showcasing from a guy who happens to be coming to our neck of the woods here real soon. Ronnie Dunn and Cracker Barrel have teamed up to give us good music for a good cause.

I can still remember sitting in my office in 1991 when I got a call from my representative from Arista records telling me he had something I had to hear. I, as usual, was skeptical. I am so excited for Ronnie Dunn to hit the stage at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland on August 16th. Todd and I started our careers about the same time. We were just a few years into being the Good Morning Guys when Brooks and Dunn first hit the airwaves with "Brand New Man". They continued with decades of hits and now Ronnie and his solo smashes as well. The stage is going to be oozing with pure country.

Ronnie Dunn seems to be doing pretty well out on his own.  His new album, The Cost of Living, is selling very well and with the release of the latest single, "Let the Cowboy Rock" it just makes us want more.  Every song on the CD is incredible like "Singer in a Cowboy Band," "Love Owes me One" and "How Far to Waco" are just a few songs just waiting at the gate.
