The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will close eastbound and westbound Interstate 76 tomorrow to allow safe removal of a bridge overhang.

Fort Collins Utilities will be replacing the 1930's 4-inch cast iron waterline in College Avenue from Buckeye Street (one block south of Pitkin Street) to Mulberry Street with 8-inch PVC pipe. Beginning Tuesday, May 27, construction will begin at Mulberry Street, working south.

I understand that I am crippled by living in Fort Collins, maybe the construction isn't that overwhelming where you live and commute, but good gravy Fort Collins is impossible; it seems as though there are detours to detours no matter where you travel.

Highway 14 east Fort Collins and West of Ault is going to be closed for a while so a bridge can be replaced. Starting tonight at midnight (Tuesday night, June 11th) Highway 14 will be closed for 28 days. That's until Tuesday, July 10th.

With Highway 14 closing down for the next month to have a bridge replaced, it got us thinking: which other bridges on our neck of the woods need some work? Turns out, quite a few...

Expect some delays on I-25 north of Fort Collins! Beginning today (Monday, June 10th), the Colorado Department of Transportation will begin a highway improvement project on the southbound lanes of I-25 north of State Highway 14 from mile marker 269 to mile marker 282 near the Wyoming state line.
