Recipe Rescue

Thanksgiving usually features the regulars, staring the turkey with co-star(s) like green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing and sweet potatoes drenched in butter and topped with tons of marshmallows. This year, introduce a new co-star!

Every afternoon I look forward to seeing what our D Dennison is coming up for her daily Recipe Rescue. As I was sitting in the K99 studio today I realized that there probably wouldn't be a recipe today since I am acting as D. That is when I decided to do my own recipe. My favorite thing to munch on since I can remember... Grandma Dorothy's Sugar Cookies.

My dear friend Lindsey loves to cook and when she hits her target on flavor, she wants to share her finding's. I am grateful for her as a friend and an amazingly creative vegetarian.
