The fourth of July weekend has come and gone, but the tasty treats and dishes still echo great flavors in my mind. My sister-in-law Tammy made an amazing Asian Salad as a perfect side dish.

So the gang is coming over for a backyard party, snacks are the hardest! Sure everyone has chips and dips, cheese and crackers, fruit and veggies, but you... you have bacon wrapped mini hot dogs that you deep fried! Let's get the party started!

With such high temps lately its hard to think of good food that is light and easy to eat in the heat. Thursday, the Fourth of July is expected to hit about 90 degrees, try this recipe as a refreshing alternative to heavy potato and creamy pasta salads.

Usually when you see pinwheels at a party they are filled with yummy savory stuff. Cream cheese is a must more often than not, but then its a free for all what you put in there. When making pinwheels you can load them up with jalapenos, lunch meats and olives or a variety of veggies, this time, we're gonna sweeten them up.
