NFL Draft
Meet the Denver Broncos Eventual Heir Apparent to Peyton Manning, Brock Osweiler
With the 57th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft the Denver Broncos selected who? A quarterback? After they just spent $80 million on one? Right after they just signed a backup in former Colorado State standout Caleb Hanie? It's true, the Broncos selected Arizona State quarterback Brock Osweiler with their second pick in the second round of the NFL draft on Friday night.
Denver Broncos Trade Picks, No First Round Selections
Friday should be a busy day for the Denver Broncos after trading away their first round pick tonight, allowing the team to gain additional picks on day two of the draft. Denver now has eight picks to make, including two second round picks and three fourth round selections. As expected, QB Andrew Luck was the first overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts.
Broncos Draft Von Miller
I am so ashamed. Here is my guy card, I am turning it in. Last night was the first round of the NFL draft and I completely forgot to watch it. I am sure I was somewhat effected by the contract situation with the league and didn’t feel the buzz of the draft like I have in past years but to be honest I was tainted by Todd’s non-stop talking about the royal wedding and couldn’t think of anything else. The Broncos had the 2nd pick in the draft and took Texas A&M linebacker Von Miller.
