It's a new chapter for Lauren Alaina. The country singer, who got her liftoff as the second place finisher to country superstar Scotty McCreery on Season 10 of 'American Idol' way back in 2011, will begin work on her sophomore album and the followup to her impressive debut, 'Wildflower,' today!

Perennial country favorite Kenny Chesney has announced the release date for his much-anticipated next album. The as-yet-untitled project will be released on April 30, 2013, the superstar revealed in a statement on Thursday.

Willie Nelson is almost 80, but the country superstar will stay as relevant as ever with the release of 'Let's Face the Music and Dance,' a collection of one of the prolific entertainer's favorites. The project will include classics from a wide range of genres, including songs by Irving Berlin, Carl Perkins, Django Reinhardt and Spade Cooley.

Jo Dee Messina and Curb Records have parted ways, according to the singer's official website. The 'Bye, Bye' singer's departure from the Nashville-based music label is the first step in what Messina hopes will be a brand new beginning in 2013.

The country superstar’s new album ‘Welcome to the Fishbowl’ debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, selling more than 193,000 units in its opening week according to Nielsen SoundScan. ‘Fishbowl’ is Chesney’s eleventh straight album to debut in the top position.

Neal McCoy will release his new album ‘XII’ on March 6 after a five-year hiatus. The album, produced by country couple Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, is McCoy’s 12th studio effort. The singer just shared the track listing for the album, along with some accolades from his high-profile production team.
