National Anthem

American Idol winner Scotty McCreery sang the National Anthem last night to kick of the World Series. There were problems with his mic at first, but once they fixed it, he calmly started over and nailed it. Thanks to YouTube for the video!

Here is a 9/11 tribute by the NFL during the New York Jets vs the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night kickoff game! The national anthem was sung by Lady Antebellum.

Fly that flag high and proud today. It is Flag Day! there is no prettier sight than the red white and blue. Think of all the men and women who fought to defend that banner. Think of all the places that banner has flown, from the sands of Iwo Jima to over the rubble of the 9/11 aftermath, the stars and stripes have flown and shown that we are united as the greatest nation on this earth.
