Even with the threat of snow in our forecast my sights are still fully set on Spring and with it the largest motorcycle ride in Northern Colorado. This will also mark the second year that our local "Hot Rod Knights" will be hosting the car and rod show and with it a few new fun twists.

Franks Ride is now in it's 27th year. What a wonderful event and it raises money for an incredible cause that we have all heard of, The Make A Wish Foundation. Sunday, May 19th, put it on your calendar and let's go raise some money in Longmont.

I don't have any money. None. Literally. I live paycheck to paycheck just like many of you so in 2006 I decided to do the first Sleigh Riders event as my way of using a microphone to get a lot of people together to help my community since my checkbook wasn't going to do it. On Tuesday, December 18th, 5 individuals came together who have done well over the year and decided to pay it forward.

Enjoyable? Sure. If you dress properly, there is no reason why you can't still get out and enjoy your motorcycle on clean, crisp Winter days. Keeping your bike on lock down when temps fall below 80 is a thing of the past and by golly if you can ride a snowmobile in December you can ride your iron sled too.
